Meet The BLB Team

Sherri was raised in Winnipeg but spent all of her summers in Fort Frances visiting her grandparents, leaving a special place in her heart for Northwestern Ontario.  A graduate from the University of Manitoba with an Honour’s Degree in Psychology, she worked her way through school in the restaurant and hospitality industry. 

This lead her to live in the Carribean for a few years before travelling across Western Canada where she met her husband Ed and began making roots in Vancouver.  In Vancouver, Sherri worked for the Original Joe’s Restaurant group, overseeing the financial operations in the franchise they co-owned, and took on a leading role at the Vancouver Naturopathic Clinic where she became passionate about holistic healing. 

After 11 years of big city living, Sherri and Ed decided to sell their portion of the Original Joe’s Franchise Group and moved to Fort Frances to be closer to family and pursue new career opportunities and investments.  Currently, Sherri and Ed are co-owners in the New Cantilever Distillery and Hotel in Ranier, MN.  Sherri’s managerial experience, and desire to learn new vocations within the legal sector, lead her to Brenda Leigh Bell Law Offices in Fort Frances where she currently manages the office while working in real estate and wills.
